Meeting Details

NACCHO Annual 2014 is an opportunity to join a thousand of your colleagues for the year’s largest gathering of local health officials in the United States. NACCHO is the only national organization that hosts annual conferences that specifically address the needs and concerns of local health officials.

The practice of public health is clearly entering a new era refocusing traditional roles and core functions in ways that are dynamic and, in some cases, not previously imagined. How will the core functions, fundamental to public health practice, look in this new era? With the core functions as a framework, this year’s meeting will explore the impact of scientific research, innovative practice and policy implementation and development in the new era on Assessment, Policy and Assurance through plenary sessions, sharing sessions and workshops.

NACCHO Annual 2014 will provide an interactive setting for local health officials and their public health partners from around the country to examine strategies, share ideas, and plan actions for sustaining or reinventing their organizations in the new era.
