Using Harmonized Data Workshop

Participants will be guided through the datasets from the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO), and National Association of Local Boards of Health (NALBOH).

During the workshop, instructors will share information on what years are available, what is included in the datasets, and how to access them.

Researchers will describe how they have utilized the datasets, key limitations they discovered, ethical issues faced when incorporating the datasets into their projects, and provide an overview of the upcoming integrated Profiles dataset.

Dr. Jeff Jones and his team of researchers at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health will host the workshop. Questions regarding the workshop can be directed to Dr. Charlotte Baker at charlottebaker5@uky.edu.
