PHSSR Grants
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO THURSDAY, JANUARY 21, 2010 by 3:00 P.M. EST
The University of Kentucky's Center for Public Health Systems & Services Research (CPHSSR) is hosting Round V "Assuring the Future of Public Health Systems & Services Research (PHSSR)". Proposals are due Thursday, January 14, 2010 by 3:00 p.m. ET.
Young investigators including junior faculty and dissertation candidates are encouraged to submit proposals for an award of $10,000 to conduct research using PHSSR datasets from NLM's Health Services Research Resources (HSRR). The 2010 Call for Proposals are available below for download and review, but only online applications will be accepted.

Junior Faculty Mini-Grant
The UK CPHSSR is announcing the 2010 round of junior faculty minigrants. Grants of $10,000.00 each will be awarded for projects involving public health systems and services research(PHSSR). Faculty members within three years of their appointment are eligible to apply for funding. Applicants must have a mentor at an institution with PHSSR experience and demonstrates the capacity to support PHSSR as documented by a letter of support and curriculum vita from the mentor. Mentors do not have to be located at the same institution as the applicant. Dissertation Mini-Grant
The UK-CPHSSR is announcing the 2010 round of dissertation mini-grants. Grants of $10,000.00 each will be awarded for projects involving public health systems and services research (PHSSR). An eligible applicant will be a pre-doctoral candidate who has completed all course work necessary to begin their final research project (dissertation,or equivalent) and will be finished with their research within two academic years of the awarding of the grant. Applicants must have a mentor at an institution with PHSSR experience and demonstrates the capacity to support PHSSR as documented by a letter of support and curriculum vita from the mentor. Mentors do not have to be located at the same institution as the applicant.
